Royal Artillery Memorial. Dedicated to First World War casualties of the Royal Regiment of Artillery. Plaques were added in 1949 to commemorate those lost in World War II. At the top is sculpture of a BL 9.2-inch Mk I howitzer. Installed in 1925. Hyde Park Corner. DSC_0751
London Day 2: A Royal Day Out

Today was the day for the "Royal Day Out". This annual event is the opening of the State Rooms at Buckingham Palace to the general public while the Queen is on holiday in Scotland. Susan had put much time into planning our attending the palace "open house".
