Teatr Wielki - Opera Narodowa. Built in 1825-1833. Rebuilt and enlarged after World War II and reopened in 1965. Plac Teatralny. "On the S. side of the square is the Grand Theatre (Teatr Wielki), dating from 1833, with colonnades on the ground floor. Today we had our formal Collette coach tour of Warsaw. We started at Łazienki Park. It was originally a royal preserve laid out with palaces and monuments. It became a public park for Warsaw in 1918.
