Overseas Railroad Station

Reconstruction of a portion of the Florida East Coast Railway Key West station. The station was the terminus of the FEC Overseas Railroad from mainland Florida through the Keys. The building houses a museum. The Overseas Railroad (1912-1935) brought tourism to the keys and Key West. DSC_0856

In our cabin mailbox arrived a warning notice: our port call at Key West would be during the annual Fantasy Fest. Passengers were cautioned they might see some outrageous things ashore!
