The Faroe Islands have reportedly the best and healthiest salmon in the world. They have sole rights to their surrounding waters for fishing wild salmon. It is indeed delicious! This photo shows just a few of the round holding areas which can be viewed all around the islands. The bulk of their catch goes for sale to Russia.
