Sheep in a Ute
Only in New Zealand Why do I always talk about the weather? I suppose it's because it completely dominates here. No matter what plans I have, there is always the weather to consider. It always changes my plans. You have to be a very spontaneous person to live in Wellington. There is no such things a routine unless you go for a walk in the rain, hang your washing in the rain, garden in the rain. It's usually the rain that stops you. And the wind. It's not nice standing at the bus stop in gale force winds. Especially when the bus is generally 10 minutes late (except on the day you're running late of course). Today is pleasant. Sunny, a few clouds, and light winds. Lovely. You can't beat Wellington on a good day. Pity there are so few good days.
Well Warwick came over two weekends in a row, which was fantastic! On the second weekend we went to Wairarapa (the Hunter Valley of Wellington). It is such a lovely area. We went to one winery and a chocolatier. 😊 On Sunday we drove to Cape Palliser and saw lots of lazy looking seals! it was so cool. I've added some photos
from the weekend. I have quite a few, but these will do!
