My how time flies. I can't believe that we are into March already. February was so busy and the weather was just magic. Here's a run down of what we did.

At the start of the month we had a wedding. Melanie and Franz were married in a neat ceremony held at Sopranos Restaurant. Great day and so good to see everyone so happy.

We spent a nice afternoon down at "102" with a family catch up. Libby {my oldest niece } had the old homestead , where I, my two brothers and sister, were all bought up, looking great, and it's always neat to see some changes and to re explore the surrounding bush . Lots of memories. All the kids have grown up so much. The view is so good looking out over Wellington Harbour to the City especially on such a nice day.

Once more up to Hastings to spend time with Amy, Jeremy and the kids. Holly had the Weetbix Tryathlon which was over 1500 kids doing the swim, bike, ride thing. Unfortunately the swim was canceled so they started with an extra run. It is a fantastic event where every child gets a

medal and bits and pieces. Holly had a great event and was absolutly worn out when she finished.

We have done a lot of walking and I'm pleased to say that we are back into biking again as we haven't been on a bike since September in Spain. It is so nice to get out and do it.

We spent a weekend in Taupo with Amy, Jeremy, the kids and Pam and Warwick. So nice and once again I'm in love with Taupo. We stayed in an apartment on the waterfront which was so, so nice. Great deck out front to look out over the pool and a great back garden to have b'fast in. Loverly weekend and so nice to catch up with Pam and Warwick who we hadn't seen since New Year. Christine came around for dinner and Mike arrived for a meal as well.

And back to Wellington were Di has started back at the old company, just for a few days to help out in the office and also help with the set up of a new store. She's loving it. Gives me a few days of respite as well. He He! So,

we just keep going along and spending time working out what the plans are for Europe this year. So far we are in Norway from mid June until mid July, then off to Spain. Next to the UK and we are still in the planning stages of that. Hope all is well out there. Pip/Rod
