The Kids give Mum her presents and then of course help to open them.
Hello all, The last few weeks have been fairly quite with not a lot of fishing but with plenty of walking a bit of work around the house. Golf lessons continue and while I don't think I will ever be great at it, I certainly enjoy being out on the course. Friday nights with Corrado and Paul at the market with Paella and juice is still holding my interest and a couple of other ideas are in the making. Amy,Jeremy and the kids were down for a weekend which gave us the chance to celebrate Amy's birthday and then Easter was spent in the Hawkes Bay with Amy, Jeremy and the kids also celebrating Hollys birthday with a party and heaps of presents. Pam and Warwick came down as well so it was a neat weekend. I stayed up there to be with Holly for the school holidays and Di flew back up for Anzac weekend. Unfortunately the rivers were all flooded for most of the time so the planned fishing didn't happen. One of the great things about walking is that I seem to bump into a heap of people who I know as I stroll around the inlet or

around to Karehana Bay, or if I'm in town I always try to get a walk around Oriental Bay, and it's always good to catch up on whats happening in their lives and news of some of our mutual acquaintances. Di is flat tack getting every thing sorted at work so she can retire feeling that she has done every thing that she can do to make it easy for when she leaves. Not long to go. Also not to long before we take off overseas and then I should have lots more to write about. Best to you all Pip/Rod

PS:::: Silly me. On my last blog I didn't actually write any captions on the photo's. So. Swans, sunsets wine and yachts are from home. Tattoos are in the Bay. Bill with his first trout and then his second and then a typical Ruamhunga rainbow in the net. sorry about that.
