We arrived in Auckland at mid night on 22 February 2014 and spent a week in the North Island. During the first few days of the trip, I had to try to get used to a new timezone as New Zealand is 3 hours ahead of Australia and 6 hours ahead of Vietnam. We left the North Island (Wellington) by ferry and went down to the South Island (Picton).
