A bird native to New Zealand that makes an extraordinary warble that sounds just like R2-D2. Its not often they're still long enough to be able to photograph them so I was quite lucky with this one.

Hi Guys, Great blog there Angus. I loved the air guitar photo! Something tell sme she is going to grow up with a greatr sense on humour! You are so lucky, it is great to see it in the photos. We are heading to Ireland on 22nd Dec and back on 30th Jan - so will head for a catch up in Scotland with some old 'Lifers' and other mates. No fixed plans yet. Have a great time. Steph
