Hi All, This is a week in one as we didn't do enough everyday to write one lol!!! Fiji Experience Malolo Island-Funky Fish Resort: 7 nights We had a lovely relaxing week reading, eating and lying by the pool. It was great but it didn’t feel like a true Fiji resort, as it didn’t have the most important thing: a white sandy beach! We were a little bit disappointed with the mud & rock beach as we are staying on the one island (Malolo) for the week to recharge instead of the alternative, which is to island hop for the week. Landed at Nadi airport on Fiji. Got driven to the port to catch a speed boat to Malolo island, passed some roadworks where a local worker was dancing in middle of rad junction as he was directing traffic. He was doing Michael Jackson hand movements in directing traffic to turn left, right and go straight and his feet were dancing as the traffic moved around him, it was brilliant to watch (what it is to like your job). Boarded the speed boat and took off as high speed across the ocean. 30 minutes later were landed at Malolo and was greeted in Fijian way with singing and clapping. Nejkrásnější věc, co se dá na Fiji udělat, je nechat se odvézt výletní lodi na jeden z nedalekých ostrovů. My jsme si koupily denní výlet za $134 (nebo 143) a strávily den v ráji. Potápění, oběd v ceně, lehátka, krásný modrý oceán..ach :) Po pár dnech v Nadi jsme jej konečně opustily (ještě předtím jsem ale pořádně vyfotila ten barevný hinduistický chrám) a vydaly se po jihu pomalu do hlavního města Suwa. Původně jsme chtěly zůstat někde ve třetině vzdálenosti mezi Nadi a Suwa, ale místní nás varovali, že prý by tam pro nás nebylo bezpečno. Takže jsme strávily 2 noci v resortu 2/3 cesty od Nadi a jely na túru do místní vesnice a k vodopádům. A taky si vypily místní nápoj káva.
