Today was strange as we had no plan of action. We had a lie in, well darren did and the first job was to do some washing. The hostel has washing machines so that was easy peasy. We decided to go for a walk along the esplanade which has a.lovely view of the

hills and harbour. Darren needed a haircut so we walked to the town to get that done. He then decided he.needed a vest and some new swim shorts to fit in with the aussies.

The weather has been strange its 31 degrees, one minute the sun is.so.strong.the next its raining.

After dinner we went to the lagoon.which.is basically a massive pool where everyone hangs out, tops their tans up and have bbqs. Really nice chilled environment. Cairns appears very laid back and not particularly busy at the minute. Today has been.good as we needed a day of chilling.as.the last three weeks have been go go go (lots of.fun but tiring).

On.the way back to the hostel we stopped at a coffee shop on.the front.and.watched the world.go by with no worries.

Tonights plan.is.to sample a few drinks as it's friday night.
