We had a jam-packed day. We started by driving by Flynn's Grave. Next was Simpson's Gap, a gap in the Western MacDonnell Range. We then went to Standely Chasm, another gap in the range. but had a very difficult walk up hill over rocky ground and uneven rock steps. The gap and chasm are where permanent water can be found. Then we drove back to the Australian School of the Air, very much upgraded now with satelite and internet connections. Then we visited the Old Telegraph station followed by dinner at Olive Pink Botanical Garden's Cafe (named after the woman, Olive Pink). We had a singer and entertainer that was a friend of Martin's. He provided us with many laughs and fun. Then back to the hotel to fall into bed.
