The days seams to roll into each other and they are starting to go quicker. Up at 6.30am and took dogs for a quick walk and then off to Monkey Mia to se the dolphins being fed. The drive is about 25k’s and got there about 7.15am there were some people there already waiting but within minutes the crowd started to roll in so someone left the gates open for the billy goats to come. The ranger explained that due to a baby dolphin (10 days old) people were not allowed at all in the water near mother and baby. Mother and baby were already there waiting for a feed and putting on a small show for the crowd, but they were swimming out to sea so the Ranger asked everyone to more back to give ... read more

After packing up and leaving the Anchorage caravan park we filled up with more fuel and drove the town, this place seams to be good to stay for a few days but we couldn’t due to accommodation problems so it was off again to Geraldton. Got there just on 12am and went to the tourist information centre, the only place Marg wanted to see here was the lobster factory which was closed due to out of season. Geraldton is a big place so Warwick was not fussed or not to stay but Marg wanted to move on so after getting some food supplies and fuel was decided to go to Jurien Bay and stay there for a few nights. So before we left Geraldton we rang ahead and booked at Jurien Bay Tourist Park (top tourist) ... read more

On Tuesday we travelled down to Jurien Bay, bypassing the large regional town of Geraldton. Annelies and Thomas had a ball at the caravan park in Jurien Bay which is home to 'WA's largest jumping pillow' - like a big trampoline filled with air. This kept them bouncing for several hours. On Wednesday we visited Nambung National Park, home of the well-known Pinnacles, while on Thursday we went to Stockyard Gully National Park where we walked through a limestone cave, which was a little daunting. We also visited Lesueur National Park, which is renown for its wildflowers, while we also walked to the top of Mt Lesueur. From here we headed south to Perth and are staying at Mark's mum and dad's place and looking forward to catching up with family and friends.... read more

After another quiet night somewhere west of Hyden, we extracted the van from behind the trees that had kept us hidden from view overnight, put the pedal to the metal and set off towards Perth. Five hours later. the rental man at Travellers Autobarn was saying that nothing was ready but he could have something prepared by tomorrow, keen to extend our time a little and knowing that we would probably spend most of the following day sorting the insurance etc. out, we offered our services for the day and agreed to come back first thing the next morning. We decided to head straight to our favourite carpark for the evening, a lovely spot by the sea at Scarborough Beach. Here we, along with several other campers had spent a pleasant night a week or ... read more
