After such a late night out and getting up early I decided that today would be spent on the beach. It was a little colder than the previous day and really windy so I opted against going in the water but I did lay in the sun and enjoyed a little nap. I spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening in a roof top cafe that over looked the water. It was a vegitarian Indain cuisine and everything I ate there was top notch. As I mentioned in my previous entry I spent the morning at the beach. The beach we went to was Bondi and it was beautiful. The water was great and it felt wonderful to just sit in the sun. After a late lunch at a beach front cafe, Mara and I headed back to city where it started to rain. Since it was raining we didn't do a whole lot, just hung out at some of the restaurants and shops around Darling Harbour. That was all for day 2.... read more

Hoi allemaal! Nou, dit was dan weer de eerste week dat ik niet meer alleen ben hier, en ik moet zeggen, wat een heerlijke week is dit geweest zeg!!!! Zondagavond zijn we gewoon lekker vroeg naar bed gegaan, te moe van de inspanningen op het feest van zaterdagavond. Maandag was wel weer een hectische dag... voor Jacq dan! Eerst moest ze naar het vliegveld toe om de koffer op te halen die met luchtvrachtw as meegestuurd.... tsja, vrouwen he met al hun spulletjes.... ze mocht 40 kg. meenemen op de passagiersvlucht (extra ruimte omdat ze een enkeltje had), en dan nog had ze teveel bij zich! De resterende 13 kg. moest dus met de luchtvracht mee, en die vlucht kwam pas maandagochtend aan. Zij dus weer lekker terug naar het vliegveld (gelukkig had ze dit keer ... read more

Les Australiens voient pas mal les choses en grand. Apres la "Grande muraille de chine" (Mungo n.p),la "Grande traversee verte"(de Cap Trebulation a Townsville,cote Est),la "Grande barriere de corail" ( qu'il nous faut encore visiter.) et encore pas mal d'autres "Grand" trucs,ils ont trouve "la Grande route de l'ocean"(the great ocean road,pour les puristes). Vous nous connaissez,avec notre coté épique et sauvage,il as fallu que l'on se rende compte par nous mêmes,aventurier curieux que nous sommes. Nous nous rendons d'abord à Sorrento pour prendre le ferry jusqu'a Queenscliff. Nous decouvront un petit port de plaisance,avec de jolie maisons en bois blanc,du jolie sable blanc et fin,de cotoneux nuage blanc sur un ciel bleu profond et une eau cristaline...il ne manquait plus qu'Eddy Barclay!!
