New tyres and winch
Well everyone, it has been a hectic build up to the big day. A wedding and also a trip, my head is spinning.

My son Michael is getting married on Saturday 9th May and we are leaving for the Cape at 5am on Tuesday 12th.

A lot has happened since the last post The biggest of which I got new tyres (I have nearly spent as much money as one would spend on an expensive guitar (Joseph)). The Troopy is now done. I have turned the two fridges on today and also put on the solar panels to test everything. Also had to change the windscreen. Good thing I had RACV glass insurance. I got sprayed with rocks from a passing truck last week. Now have a brand new windscreen. Also no rust under screen and also found 10 cents in the cavity. Woohoo. Doing the meat shopping on the weekend and then sealing and putting in the freezer.

We have booked cabins at North Bourke for the first night and one of the huts at Seisa for the second week. Everything else will be accommodated on the go.

Gotta go and finish this wedding speech.

Looks Awesome!
Such great news that everything is ship shape! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with Michael's wedding...so exciting! Just told dad that you have booked in at North Burke....we were both surprised that the trip is so close now. He has another suggestion to...if going out to Chillagoe check out Mount Mulligan as well if you have time....apparently there is a mine that you can stay out there. Dad is happy to give you more details if needed. K
