I stopped at Frogmore Creek Winery en-route to Hobart. Pat and I sampled a few of the excellent wines and had a light lunch on the "Deck" cellar door restaurant. We started with excellent some French breads, whole grain and white, with three spreads: beet, hummus and herbed butter; pus a generous portion of mixed olives for 15AUD. I wish they had a take out license as we hated to waste all those good olives that were left over. We also had hot smoked salmon at 15AUD and pulled pork shoulder croquettes with apple puree mustard 15AUD. Pat had an excellent Fume Blanc for 10AUD and I had a Moo Brew Beer for 8.50AUD. We would have eaten at the Signature Restaurant with its excellent tasting menu but it was closed for a function. Fee for the wine tasting was $5 per person redeemable upon purchase. It was credited toward a bottle of that excellent Fume Blanc that we took with us.
