The beach from the Wedge.
Well it has sure been a mixed week with the weather. Sunny days but chilly winds and I mean WIND. I guess you have to expect that on an island in the middle of Bass Strait don't you. We have still been able to walk somewhere or another depending on the wind direction and have this week conquered the Wedge/Pyramid/Fuji. It was a slog up to the ridge and even still a bit of a climb to the top of the ridge but boy it was worth every huff and puff. The views from there were amazing (again) and the beach at Winter Cove looked stunning from that view. Spud has had a great week with the climb and a fishing trip with much success. He has been wanting to do that walk for three years but his wife wasn't sure she was up to it but hey I was. Then he went and caught eight mullet at Winter Cove and they were so nice we decided they will be known from now on as Winter Cove Whiting. Yep they were that good!

Still jealous
Thanks for the memories. Keep blogging.

You wouldn't be jealous of the weather we have at the moment but it goes with the territory we guess. Found a rock with green writing on it on Centre Hill and put it back on the cairn. Reminders of you wherever we seem to go. xxx
