Day 2 – 22/2/2015
We awoke to rain on the roof of the van about 5am. Departed Robe at 8.45am knowing it would be another hot day. The temperature soared quickly in the first hour from 19C to 32C. Stopped for lunch in Meningie next to the beautiful Lake Albert to allow the sore backside time to recover as the cramp was quite painful. Arrived at the Adelaide Shores Big 4 Caravan Park at almost 2pm, a total of 5 hours & 15 mins on the road including breaks.
Had a well earned Scotch Fillet steak for dinner on the caravan park bbq along with several refreshments. Again it was off to the beach, followed by a swim in the pool where we met some wonderful people from Qld, then off to bed for more much needed rest.
