After 4 years finally get to meet namesake Michael Treloar, only to find out he was in Helston on his first visit to Cornwall last July - not a hundred yards from where we live.
We could have passed on the street and not known it!

Have been to Mooloolaba and met his Uncle Les (Leslie Treloar!) and Aunty Peggy, hope to meet his Dad Harry shortly.

Relatively Speaking
Great news you managed to track the Down Under Treloars. Found anybody horribly rich yet? We much appreciated your card from Tasmania and interested that Richmond has Australia's oldest surviving stone bridge. There are two in our Richmond but the Mercury Bridge was almost lost when the town was hit by severe floods five years ago. Apart from day trips to walk in the Lakes we haven't gone far but go to Shetland in June and Penzance in July. When do you return? Will you return?

From one Cornwall to another...
Fantastic that you have managed to finally meet Michael Treloar II. I can't believe that he was over here in Cornwall last year. It's a small world! Really looking forward to seeing all the photographs of the area. It's so interesting to see Little Cornwall - quite a bit different to ours. Oh I printed off the photo of Mike, on the previous blog, eating his pasty for Nanny - she really liked it!
