Philip now has two big toes on his right foot which looks rather deformed so he could easily pass himself off as Queenslander who seem to all be as mad as a box of frogs. After another disturbed night at the yoof centre (one more night woo hoo.) we limp over to the sea front to read the local newspaper where we are promptly and rudely told to move on as they are setting up for some TV show there (today or something) That old excuse. Philip makes an appointment for Thursday with a podiatrist so he will have good four day s to cure the toe before we run on it, falling that Philip can always cut it off.

we limp back into surfers rather dejected there is nothing to distinguish surfers the town from any other developed seaside resort you could be in benidorm we ask at tourist information if there is a museum nearby and she directs us to place where you can get dressed in wild west gear and have your picture taken in ye old saloon. You couldn't make this up.

On return to the hostel we find a new Canadian couple moved into the room and they are lovely young people that restore your faith in the yoof of today which is promptly ruined by some one throwing up outside the room at half four this morning. off to caravan park tommorow just like Home and away
