Sept 26. Maleny rainy. Five hour spruik the response was so great. Used bookstore had virtually all the Patrick O'Brian books so I got two I hadn't read including the one when they go to Australia. Sky cleared by noon. Later went to Lake Boonen. Truely grand forest, huge straight trees. Spectacular rocky river gorge, deep pools. Then down the mountain to Mooloolaba for fish dinner.
Sept 27. Sail. Whales again. Cuttlefish. Turtle. Noddies. Around Mudjimba Island. Beer at club. Dark cloud. Rain. Queensland tropical rain.
Sept 28. Perfection in a day. Clear sky. Spruiked Mooloolaba early. One bloke gave me 20. A woman gave me 10. That will cover all the freebies. Maroochydore Library internet all booked. Stamped stickers. Later walk to Alexandra Beach for nudie swim. Sunshine carpark. Flew flag, saw humpback breach, dolphins playing. Stickers very popular. White cheeked honeyeater. Striated breast, gold streak wings and tail.
Sept 29. Spruik Noosa Junction. Found out my email's not working. Company is in trouble. Must sort it out. Dry laundry Noosa Woods. Blue faced honeyeater. National Park walk watch wildlife. Koala.
Sept 30. Spruiked Noosa Junction, walked on beach and watched Grand Final Eagles win 85-84!!!
Oct 1. Spruiked Sunshine Beach. Sailed Mooloolaba. Dolphins, turtle, shark.
