Sept 21. Langorous hours Mooloolaba. Picked up DVD in Maroochydore - record of tv appearance. Still unseen. Went to Sunshine Beach now sunny where a week earlier we couldn't see the salt water, only torrents of fresh. Walked to Alexandria Beach in Nat. Pk. Seriously tired after yesterday's sail. Rib bruised no broken. Spruik, shower, sip of beer.
Sept 22. Bucolic day Noosa. Dried clothes, strolled about. Gave out lots of stickers. Radio host to call on Sunday for on-air interview.
Sept 23. Morning spruik. Serious whale breaching Sunshine Beach. Three-quarters of body out of water. Repeated slapping of water with pectoral fins, 500 meters offshore. Swim at nudie beach Alexandria in N.P. Bloke wants big flag. Sunshine Surf Club for Eagles win in Adelaide.
Sept 24. Sail Mooloolaba. Whale, dolphin, offshore grey birds skimming waves and settling in a group. Viewed disc of tv appearance. Very good. They dragged out some old Bruce Ruxton footage as rebuttal.
Sept 25. Beautiful birdsong as day dawned. (Pied butcherbird) Into Brisbane for media attempt. Went to 7, 9 ,10 and 'Courier Mail'. 7 and 9 possible to call. Stopped Caboulture - article on Wed. Climbed Mt. Burrburum just south of Beerwah. View south to Brisbane, east to Caloundra and NE to Maroochydore. Pine plantings like cane fields. Ended in Maleny. Cool, cool. Evening music counter culture co-op.
