Ended up being a great place to camp even if by default. Peter was in fishing heaven and the beach was dog friendly and off lead. Weather was perfect too.
Peter caught his first Black Bream and some Whiting and a Long Tom. If you love fishing this is definately a great place to go. The caravan park is imaculate and right on the beach. Just a short drive from here to Airlie Beach.

Make sure you go there and have a look! He also said if you want a job at Bullivants he will get you one near Mackay!! Enjoy! Marg, Bruce and Mary
