Wed. 9 Aug. Walked docks at Able Marina. Charter boat flying SC&B. Two more flags on boats when I'd done. Many stickers too. Lunch. Sea eagle, underneath white with black airlerons to the tips. Splendid.
Thur 10 Aug. Spruiked town and docks looking for boat. There's always the chance of no ride. Mid afternoon got a spot on Mummbo - a Mumm 11. Got job to clean bilge. No problem. This should be fun!!! Very good Fred. You haven't lost your touch. To think that tomorrow I'll be at the starting line in one of the hottest fleets is exciting. Signal flags. The thrashing of jibs and shouts of 'up'. The retort of the gun signalling the start of race week.
