Wed 9 Aug. Walked docks at Able Marina. Charted boat flying SC&B. Two more flags on boats when I'd done. Many stickers too. Lunch. Sea eagle, underneath white with black airlerons to the tips. Splendid.
Thur 10 Aug. Spruiked town and docks looking for boat. There's always a chance of no ride. Mid afternoon got a spot on Mummbo - Mumm 11! Got job to clean bilge. No problem. This should be fun!!! Very good Fred. You haven't lost your touch. To think that tomorrow I'll be at the starting line in one of the hottest fleets is exciting. Signal flags. The thrashinbg of jibs and shiouts of 'up'. Start gun firing the beginning of race week.
