Day 7 approx. 505 kms travelled



Left Alice as light rain was falling, our expected stop for tonight is a free camp site called “The Pebbles” just past Tennant Creek. The road is fantastic and we averaged 105km/hr. The rain has stopped and we finally saw blue skies and sunshine by the time we got to the Devils Marbles. The temperature is finally rising.

After filling up with fuel and stocking the freezer from the local butcher, we arrived at the Pebbles as darkness falls. Already a few other travellers pulled in for the night. Its warm but cloudy again so no “stary stary nights”, here’s hoping for a nice sunrise.
