Alice Springs !!

After a bit of a lie in we set off to have a look around Alice Springs, a visit to the BP Service Station was first on our list and then off to the Telegraph Station. This was really interesting with heaps of history of the first settlement in Alice Springs.

We decided a visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service was next on the list and after a short film and visit to the museum had lunch in the lovely, sunny courtyard.

We also visited Emily Gap to have a look at some aboriginal rock art, the site is only about 10km out of town and well worth the visit. The rock painting depicts the caterpillar dreaming.

We are off to Tennant Creek tomorrow and Rhonda & Colin start their trip home.
