Today we woke up and planned on going to the Sydney Wildlife World/Aquarium and then on to Bondi Beach. When we got up we grabbed the breakfast which is included in the stay and then headed out. We tried going directly through town and got very lost. We ended up going about a kilometre west of where we had to and had to cut back. What was supposed to be a 40 minute walk turned into a 2 hour plus walk. Once we go there the other two decided they did not want to go to the aquarium and only wanted to go to the wildlife portion of the place. It cost me 33 dollars to go to both and they each paid 19.50 to go to just the wildlife world. From the outside the place looks tiny but once inside the aquarium I was shocked by the size of the place. There were many tanks with interesting fish and other things I wouldnt find in North America. I really cant explain it you will see when I can figure out how to put all the pictures up. After seeing all the little tanks there were three massive tanks. One had

8-10 seals in it. Instead of viewing from the top there were two tubes in the bottom of the tank so you were actually looking up at the seals as they swam above and to the side of you. The tank was 60 metres by 40 metres by about 10 metres and was amazing thing to see. From there you go next door to another tank that is about the same size. In this tank there were many 15 foot sharks. a couple massive sting rays. some smaller cool looking sharks and 2 or 3 sea turtles. The tanks were unlike anything I had ever seen before. After that there was a final tank which was the largest of the three which had smaller sharks and thousands of fish. There was a square underwater tube to walk in and also a theatre area where you could sit like a movie with a glass window probably 10 metres by 10 metres which you could see through the tank. From there we went to Wildlife World which had all the on land animals. It started off with all the spiders posionous and not. From there there was nocturnal animals, butterflies, a koala sanctuary, a kangaroo sanctuary and a couple other things. I took tonnes of pictures of both places which I will try to put up later. Unfortunatly my camera died half way through the wildlife world so I will try to get some pictures of Luke before he leaves us. That night we walked through the city taking night pictures and going on a very long walk halfway across the Sydney Harbour bridge. this walk felt like 10 km and lasted atleast 2 hours. that was the day I will post more later and try to get the pics up asap. Time to go enjoy day 3!
