Gosford and Live Earth

FRA: En attendant plus - beaucoup plus ! - de photos, voici déjà un petit aperçu de nos derniers jours dans le New South Wales, il y a déjà plus d’un mois, alors qu’il faisait sensiblement plus frais que maintenant dans le Queensland.
Notre visite à Gosford (environ 80km au nord de Sydney) chez Sophie et Dan nous a donné l’opportunité de voir une très jolie région.

L’immense concert Live Earth tenu au Aussie Stadium de Sydney a été tout un évènement. La journée fut longue, mais en valait largement la peine.
Les points forts musicaux furent surtout le John Butler Trio et Crowded House, avec mention particulière à Sneaky Sound System, qui ont fait grimper la température.
C'était en revanche assez triste de voir traîner l'immense quantité de détritus à la fin de la soirée. Un concert pour l'environnement, mais visiblement pas pour tout le monde...

Our visit to Gosford (about 80km - 50 miles - north of Sydney) at Sophie and Dan’s gave us the opportunity to see a very nice area.

The huge Live Earth concert held at Sydney’s Aussie Stadium was a mean event. It was quite a long day, but well worth it.
The musical highlights were mainly the John Butler Trio and Crowded House, with a particular mention of Sneaky Sound System, who made the temperature rise,
It was however a bit sad to see the massive amount of litter lying around at the end of the night. A concert for the environment, but apparently not for everybody…

FRA: Nous avons regardé cette cette eau bleue avec l'espoir de voir passer des baleines, mais elle n'ont pas voulu se montrer ce jour-là.
ENG: We watched that blue water with the hope of spotting whales pass by, but they were reluctant to show themselves on that day.

FRA: Charlotte ne s'est pas mise au reggae, il s'agit juste d'une "petite brise" côtière.
ENG: Charlotte hasn't started doing reggae, it's just a little "sea breeze".

Asian restaurant
FRA: Un dernier repas en compagnie d'Anna et John. Nous ne les reverrons pas avant la fin du mois de février. Ils vont beaucoup nous manquer, tout comme leurs enfants !
ENG: One last meal with Anna and John. We won't be seing them again before the end of February and we're going to miss them, just like their children !

C'est une preparation...
...pour le choc climatique auquel on va avoir droit en rentrant au mois de Fevrier ! C'est pour etre sur d'avoir assez de couches a se mettre sur le dos en sortant de l'avion.
