We all got dressed up, hats included and did a trip to Royal Randwick Racecourse to place a few bets, see if our luck was in and spend a day in the sun. I loved getting dressed up, everyone there looked stunning. We placed bets on most races throughout the day, winning was such a great rush...loosing not so much! i finally finished work on friday, after 10 weeks i managed to make around 6000 dollars. im planning a trip up north on jan 1st . i board a bus at 7pm and my first destination is 13hrs later in bryon bay. i then go to a couple of beaches in the gold coast. next i will spend a day at the oz zoo (the steve irwin zoo). after that im going to cairns where i will spend most of my time. im going to get certified to scuba dive, and check out the great barrior reef. i think i will do a five day scuba package where i can go out on a boat for 2 of the days. im also hoping to rent a bike and do some trail riding in the great outback. ... read more

here are a bunch of photos. for those who don't know we finally moved into our house on (wed. 19th of sep.). its a 3 bedroom 1bath. luke and i share the big room where i have a queen size bed and he has a single. kimmy has the medium size room and james has the sunroom. we have a good size kitchen, and living room, own laundry, and a small backyard and side yard on each side. the house is in randwick which is a 10min. bike ride from coogee beach, one of the most famous beaches out here. we have a bunch of grocery stores, a movie theatre, a few pubs, lots of resturants, lots of shops, and a bowling alley. at the moment kimmy and i are still jobless, but james is working ... read more

Not too much to report on this week really having already spent a good amount of time in Sydney and seen the majority of sites, after 3 weeks back slumming it in hostels was lovely to get back to my double bed at Pete and Di's, didn´t do much the first few days I was back, just sat around and relaxed and caught up with Pete, Di, Jen and Joel, did go out with Jen and her work crew and then were joined by Joel and his mates and had a great night and that weekend Pete and Di took Dave and I to Taronga Zoo, we got really lucky with an absoloutley gorgeous day and had a great time wandering around gawping at strange animals. Right now taken our last journey in the big green bus and arrived in Christchirch it was pritty boaring but, there were a few good points thought, after hearing about a zippo art shop form and American all the way back in Rotarua we went to scout it out and it didnt take too long to find it, i got some amazing artwork done on my zippo (see picture) for an incriedible artist. Over the next few days we climbed up the cathederal tower, christchurch cathederal is supprisingly small, but there were some great views form the top. While in Chirstchurch we stayed in a hotal called base which was like a laberenth but nice all the same. Appart form that we didnt do too much in out final destination of NewZeland.
