Hello everyone! :) I have decided that I will attempt to write a travel blog, using the limited resources I will have access too. After months of organising, stressing and excitement, the time has finally come. In just nine hours I will be on a plane, on my way to our stopover, Singapore. There, we will wait for three hours until again boarding a plane, and arriving in Siem Reap. I cannot wait to depart on this amazing adventure, and hope to keep you all up to date and entertained! It is currently 11:43pm and I have to somehow wake up at 5:20am.... this is going to be a long night! I bid you farewell and goodnight, until we speak again! Ellie xxx... read more

A day to mentally and physically recharge after the yesterdays fun and games in the rain at Bondi. Conserve some energy for a late night watching team Ingerland. Watching the world cup over here reminds us of Mexico 86 the games are on late at night and the commentators seem to be old English ones like John Helm. Anyway first to the cinema and while we contemplate Gold class where you get your own couch and waiter service to bring you drinks which given the state of his legs is not a bad idea the only film on in gold class is sex and the city thou and Philip doesn’t want to watch that* Instead we Watch some Russell Brand film in the cheap seats. *Philip has deleted the word again from the end of that ... read more

Australia contains more deadly animals/insects and other thing that are a general danger than an average Liverpool away game. When we arrived at Adams and Pippa's they issued us with a guide to the spiders that have been found in THEIR garden including red backs and funnel webs who can actually kill you, yes kill you so when the girls ask Uncle Bill (which Phil has now become he was Uncle sil in Perth) to take them to the park which is next to some bushland we are some what perturbed about venturing out. As it the only danger is the local nutcase who informs us that the trees go all the way to heaven, But watching Everton for 30 years we have grown used to dealing with these sorts. In the Afternoon Philip goes for ... read more

A Funny and random thing happened while walking back from the shops as the sunset a local stopped us worried that Philip was cold in just a shirt and to ask if he seen anything as remarkable or beautiful as the white cockatoos sat in arow on the telegraph line chirping away as the sun set behind them. A random yet engrossing imagine. The man thanks us gave us an orange as he could tell we had a beautiful soul he said and went on his way. That sort of thing doesn't happen too often in Lower Hartford. In the evening Philip was going to a 70s party at Adams boss house, Struggling for a costume he thinks a 70s attitude may be the way forward like Gene Hunt in Life on Mars but being a ... read more

Philip has recieved some fantastic support on are fund raising, alot of messages calling him inspirational which are touching.....He was anything but today despite spending five years at catering college he manages to serve dinner six hours late after forgetting to turn oven on. The afternoon run lasts about six yards due to first mp3 player going flat then garmin flat and final straw tripping over his shoe laces. he may be able to travel the world and lose six stones but turn an oven on, tie your shoe laces, charge up various equiment forget it. Its less than three weeks to the gold coast marathon now so we will need to up are game. Tommorow we are off to right another wrong from our last visit.... read more
