We had such a nice stay with sister Barbara. We also visited her daughter Kath and her family who live not too far away. Today we left Canberra and drove to Bungendore. Bungendore is a small town but has some nice shops - our favourite is the wood working shop which contains beautiful art pieces from tables and chairs, chests, etc to small boxes and such in all sorts of beautiful wood. Most are expensive but it's obvious that a lot of love and time has been put into each piece. We didn't stop at the next town, Braidwood, but kept on down the very very steep mountain. After leaving Sydney after lunch, we only got as far as Kiama the first night. We didn't get the best site at East's Beach, way at the back, closer to the railway line than the beach, but we slept OK and made an early start on Tuesday. The countryside is looking so beautiful down south, very lush and green after a wetter than usual summer. After morning coffee and a walk around the shops of Berry, we kept on driving till we came to Mollymook. We parked right overlooking the beach for lunch, then donned cossies and went down the sand to the beach.
