First 2 days travel.

Day 1 - Home to TrangieDay 2 - Trangie to Broken Hill

Hi everyone, we left home at 10.20am this morning and have enjoyed a leisurely trip. First heading north up the New England Highway and then we started our trip West.
We had many stops for road works and oversized traffic. But we didn't mind, we had all day and it didn't matter where we landed.
We had lunch in a lovely park at Merriwa. Then travelled on to Dubbo where ............. wait for it ............. Rodger had to go to Bunnings.
We did some shopping there and filled up with diesel.
We have now stopped (arrived at 6.15pm) for the night in a lovely little town called Trangie, about 30 Kl West of Narromine. I can not 'map' it for you because it does not exist in this program. But it is a real place........ we ARE here .............. LOL. I will try and find a town closeby and map that, if I can. OK, I found Dubbo, but that is miles back.
We are camping next to a lagoon and a beautiful park. The toilets even have soap.
While I type this message to you all, Rodger is down by the lagoon BBQing our dinner.
Oh bugga............ we missed 'Happy Hour', but we have opened a bottle of red to go with dinner.
I must say that the floods did cause a lot of damage to our country, but out here in the West it has benefited. Everything looks lovely and green.

Many thanks for your message today Benita, sorry I could not reply. I just can NOT type anything on my stupid phone.
