Our house in Moab Well, sorry I haven't kept up on this. We had no internet last night and the internet tonight is very slow, so we'll see if I can even post pics tonight. Yesterday was VERY eventful. We woke up in Moab, made a big breakfast, did a photo shoot, and hit the road, heading south through Utah. We all thoroughly enjoyed the sights along the way and continued to have a good time riding together. We stopped at the Mittens in Utah to eat lunch and do a little shopping at the Jewelry stands. Fast forward a few hours later, we were at the Grand Canyon! Rita (Nick's mom) expressed her fear of heights…. several times 😊 Baraki and I took a little hike to get closer to the edge and I guess some visitors behind the fence saw us from afar and called us idiots…… that could have been Rita too 😉 Anyway, the Canyon was amazing and inspiring and I received an awesome gift! Nick bought me a pocket knife with my name on it. I love it and have put it to good use already. That guy is always thinking of others.
Our journey went South figuratively and

Nick's pad in Moab literally after the Grand Canyon. We arrived at our KOA campground in Williams, AZ around 9:15, very exhausted after 10+ hours on the road. Nick couldn't even fit his chair through the door of our "accessible cabin"; you can imagine our state of minds at this time! After some brainstorming, we followed Rita's suggestion to go to a hotel in town. This took some time as well 😞 after I asked 3 different places if they had accessible rooms, we finally stumbled the "Wild West Junction", which is a cowboy hotel with themed rooms and the kindest staff ever. There were about 6 people helping us with our bags and equipment and they even opened up the kitchen and made us all plates of brisket and the works, which we were never charged for. The owner, John, is a great old cowboy and is also the mayor of Williams. He and his staff's kindness and excellent customer service was a Godsend. We were all at our wits end and I think I would have broke down in tears if this place couldn't have taken us. It was quite the experience. This morning was beautiful and we sat outside in their
courtyard, drank coffee, ate a delicious complimentary breakfast and chatted with the staff and other passerby's. A car show was taking place in the street, which made the morning even more entertaining. The place was truly amazing.
Today we made our way to Boulder City, NV, where we will spend the next 2 days. Nick will need bed rest tomorrow, so we're looking forward to just relaxing, watching movies, and playing cards. We made our way to the Hoover Dam earlier this evening, followed by dinner at a mexican restaurant. Sitting around the table tonight, we all had some good laughs and commented on what a great traveling team we are! We're getting more relaxed with each other and are producing some great inside jokes 😊
I will see if the connection will let me post any pics now. I won't even bother with videos until I find better internets. Peace out from Boulder City…. so close to Vegas I can smell my winnings.
