Occupy Wall Street Movement
The movement started in New York about 2 months ago. It spread around to different places like L.A, people that support the cause. The reason for the protest is economic inequality. People are getting hurt because of the movement. Police patrols are arresting and hurting people on the streets. The government wants the movement to stop, they say that " the people don't understand the government". They are saying that they will let people protest and not hurt them as much. I connect this to what we learned about roman history; how the citizens from Rome over threw the government and that is how the collapsed. It is because of the connection that makes me think if I do or do not agree with the movement. I believe that movement is ok, it is just that the people and government were tacking it to far. The government can always please the people. The government is suppose to be the perent to society, we are not always going to agree with them.
