Waking up at 4:50 to catch the rising Sun experience proved to be a wee bit too late so we had to run to the rim for 10-15min to get there on time. Peter was revving at approximately 800 photos/minute while Ivica was setting up the GoPro camera to record a
">time-lapse of a sunrise.
What looks like a mist is probably just a smoke from the fires on the northern rim.
Everybody is focused on the sunny side.
OK, maybe not everybody.
It is the west side that is more interesting.
Luc also knows this…he is contemplating again.
A 4/5 group photo with a GoPro camera attached to the fence. I could imagine that below this fence is a cemetery of dropped cameras and mobile phones.
There's another creature contemplating.
After 6:30 we left our sunrise point and went walking along the rim. Along the path we saw these two guys having breakfast.
Making armpits great again.
A lot of shadows.
After a breakfast we went on the road again, Peter drove us towards Desert point, 40km away from the Visitor center and campgrounds. There is a watchtower over the canyon.
Inside there are drawings related to the local Indian tribe.
That was it from Grand Canyon. In one word: impressive!
