After leaving Mum is San Francisco, we visited Yosemite, America's first National Park and saw the largest living things on Earth, the Giant Sequoia trees. There is a certain feeling that you get when you stand before them in all of their majestic beauty...some live to 3500 years old! It is truely a marvel of Mother Nature.
The road led us back to Reno for a weekend in the Wild West with our new friends. We enjoyed our first Rodeo, I rode a horse in the hot Nevada desert, while Daniel went Rock crawling (4 wheel driving) at the Moonrocks. Again, we enjoyed good food and company before seeing the Ratrods in Reno.
After a very busy weekend...indeed, few months, we are here at Lake Tahoe for a bit of R n R before we meet our dear friend Jason tomorrow in San Francisco to start the next part of our journey.
We do hope that this finds you happy and well.
Bye for now!
