Wow, this country produces ALOT of corn!! I have been driving through Iowa and Nebraska today. There are fields and fields of corn as far as the eye can see, with some cows thrown in for good measure. Add about a million dead insects on my new windshield and that pretty much sums up the day. I decided not to make any major pitstops today, but just FYI if I wanted to these were among my choices:
Pony express museum
sod house museum
prairie pioneer museum
prairie learning center
Onward and westward!! Wyoming is next.

this is a gas station chain in the Iowa area. I didn't even really need gas, but couldn't pass up the chance to 'kum & go'

About 60 miles left in nebraska at this point. I'd try to crop the shot to get rid of the registration sticker, but the many bug splats would still be there anyway. :)
