Great park in West Yellowstone
Left St. Mary, MT on August 28th to Helena, MT where we spent the night in the parking lot of the Elks Club. Since we were in Helena we were able to pick up our 2008 registration for the Motor Home. Left Helena on August 29th and arrived at Grizzly RV Resort in the town of West Yellowstone. This is a very nice park with all paved roads. The sites are close together but the plus is it is located in town and we were able to walk to restuarants and shops.

The next morning we set out to tour Yellowstone National Park and find Old Faithful. We made several stops before arriving to catch Old Fairthful doing it thing. We spent two days exploring Yellowstone which was the minimum time to spend. The terrain changes around every corner from parairies to mountains. There were herds of buffalo in the fields and on the roads. Ocasionally there were wildlife traffic jams which was okay because we were able to see the animals also. We also saw elks, cayotes and bear. The third day we drove to Grand Teton National Park's Colter Bay Visitor Center, the trip from Yellowstone was 85

The Tetons are higher then the mountains at Glacier National Park, but the ones at Glacier appear to be much higher.
