After 4 nights in Moab, time to head south to see the Natural Bridges National Monument and Monument Valley. However, I had to see a few more arches on my way. First up was Corona Arch just north of Moab. It was a three mile return hike, mostly uphill. Thanks to some strategically-placed safety lines and ladders, one can climb right to and under the arch and play around. An impressive arch, one of the nicer ones in the area. Nearby, as an added attraction, you pass by Bow tie Arch. The next stop was Wilson Arch and of course I could not resist. A roadside arch, I had, nonetheless, to scramble to the top for a Kodak moment - Wilson under Wilsons arch. It had to be. All in all a relatively quiet day. I arrived in Monticello round 3 PM just in time for a nap. Maybe a nice steak dinner tonight!
