We're just North of Salt Lake City, having spent the day at Bryce Canyon (in Southern Utah) and then traveling through the beautiful but spare Utah Valley getting here (driving through Salt Lake City just in time to see the sunset over the mountains and great salt lake). Our time in Page, Arizona helped in a couple of ways: a lot of pool time for the boys, a automotive spa day for Millie and the exposure to an area to which we'd like to return: Exploring Lake Powell and its Canyons by Houseboat. Bryce Canyon was well worth the trip as you'll be able to see by the pictures here. These were taken by all members are the family. Mark and Millie (and Maria's nerves) got a little break today when we hit the Interstate after three days of desert and mountain driving. Since we are in Utah with its Morman influence, I've ask Mark to seriously consider finding a second wife if he plans to continue cross country travel in an RV. HooDoos
These sandcastle like rock formations are called HooDoos. the longest game of scrabble ever and found great pie at Bryce Canyon (Elliot will surely comment on that). Tomorrow: On the way to Yellowstone.

Several years ago, Kathy, Floyd, Carolyn and assorted kids did that Lake Powell trip in a houseboat--the photos were gorgeous. Sounds like a must do to me. Your photos are equally awesome! Keep them coming. Kevin--did the tooth fairy find you way out there in Utah?
