Stevie at the edge!
Well - so ends the perfect weather when we got to Arches - I think it was warmer in NH - days 55-60 with thunderstorm in the morning. Had a site in the park and did have a great second day - hiked Delicate Arch and Devil's Garden, north and south windows and took lots of pictures. Next day was cloudy again and went into Canyonlands - made it to Moab to camp that night - had to hook up - batteries ran low! Off to Moab Brewery for $10 pitchers of Scorpion Pale Ale and 15 cent wings - YES - 15 cents! Met a very nice guy from PA at the bar who was out on work looking for oil shale in the Utah Mtns. Staying in Moab an extra night because the SUN came out - perfect for hiking to Murphy Point in Canyonlands - didn't do the whole hike because of time - did it 10 years ago to the White Rim. Off to somewhere in CO today - hope we can find a campsite! This wonderful trip is coming to an end, but it's time to get home to the lawn, flowers and golf - What
