Well the storm last night dropped the temperature to bearable for our walking today :) We took advantage of the free breakfast by having cereal, toast, a waffle (freshly made by us!) and some donuts :) When in America… By walking in the wrong direction along the Riverwalk (there were only two directions) we came across the first post office in Texas which was a pretty and traditional building! Then we strolled back the right way along the picturesque river toward the al fresco restaurants and quirky shops. Remember how we said “when in America” well Annie certainly ate like an American for lunch by having not one, but two giant slices of pizza, and then a slice of cookie (see pictures for full detail :D ) Her energy certainly perked up after that!
