Windmill Farm in Weatherford, OKWindmill Farm in Weatherford, OKWindmill Farm in Weatherford, OK

This is just a couple of the dozens of windmills that we saw along the way. Nothing else of much interest.
WE left Jan's place around 8.30 am and headed toward Texas. We are on our way to Amarillo. Another gorgeous, but cool, day. Clear blue skies. WE are going through Weatherford, OK where there is this big windmill farm. I have seen them in some movies, I know and they are pretty cool. Also kind of eerie. I guess they are really loud but we didn't stop. The land is getting redder from the clay and flatter as we get closer to Texas. It has been a pretty desolate drive once we got out of Oklahoma City area. Very windy too causing less mileage per gallon. Ouch......We have seen "dyed" diesel at $2.11 a gallon but we don't know what it is!! Traffic has not been bad at all. Will add more if anything more exciting happens!! Ha ha!!! Thank goodness for my aircard!!!!!
