Somebody shoot me! Another slow and torturous day through residential areas! I can’t forget to mention the clammers and the fisherman in the skiffs. You have to slow down for each and every one of them. Some of them even fish in the channel. It’s gloomy outside and chilly due to the front but at least we are moving I guess. The landscape is beautiful. Walt and I compare it to a mix between a rugged Cape Cod and a soft islandy FL (which I guess would make sense since it’s about half way down) but the point is that’s it’s a good mix of the two areas…the best of both worlds! Our marina in Myrtle Beach is very nice (Great Dunes Resort Marina) but it’s a couple of miles from the beach so we’ll be staying in tonight. I am glad we are finally in SC!

You can't see it that well but someone put a tiki bar and faux palm tree on a sand bar in the ICW. It was funny to pass it along the route.
