After a really wonderful three days on Cape Cod, whilst I felt ready to leave, I was also a little sad to be leaving and I missed it after I left - I'm not quite sure why, but perhaps it was because if its tranquil nature, and different pace to the rest of the places I visited on my journey. Our smallest state
The homeless situation in the U.S. is shocking. It grows daily. We shall have to add this to our list of things to discuss. Newport draws a lot of tourist but being early April didn't hurt. Dave and I are always amazed by peoples excess wealth and wonder what they did to earn all of that? As you said, the coast offers many stunning views. I'm glad you enjoyed your hiking. Most people don't take the time to visit Rhode Island and certainly not those from other countries. Good for you! MJ
