The next day we woke up to the sun shining through the big window and an amazing view of a vineyard just below Jade's house. It was gorgeous, and a wonderful way to wake up. After more coffee, we set out east to Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area. We were camping in a campground there. Driving east through Oregon was alot like driving south down I-5 in Southern California. I was impressed with how similar the scenery is. We made it to our campground sometime in the afternoon, set up camp and cooked dinner. Galen and I watched the newbs try and build a campfire. After it failed, Galen taught them how. I also tried "Stickers" for the first time! I was entirely skeptical at first about putting marshmallow on Tillamook cheese. Goddamn, that shit was good!
