La suite va me donner tort. Je reprends la liste, ... read more

July 11, 2013 Today was the ultimate lazy day. A real long walk on the beach this morning and then after lunch, we went into Nehalum and Manzanita shopping. Lots of little, fun shops and local characters. Please don’t get too bored with all of the ocean pics – probably lots more coming. Our next stop in Washington will be on the beach as well.... read more

July 10, 2013 56 degrees again when we get up, it seems each day starts with 56 and the high is always 64 – it’s lovely. Had to change sites today, so that put us a bit behind in what we wanted to do. After we got into our new site, we headed out for Tillamook. We stopped at KoKo’s for lunch, in the beautiful Tillamook Country Club. Salmon and beer battered rock fish – YUM. Then on to Tillamook Cheese Factory and the tour of how cheese is made. It takes 1.7 million gallons of milk delivered every day to the factory for the cheeses to be made. Of course, we then had to stop in their ‘store’. We headed back to the campground, enjoying the views along the way and the little towns of ... read more

July 7, 2013 - Sunday Watch live streaming of the church service before heading out for Nehalem Bay SP. Such a lovely ride – all along the Pacific Coast Highway and the beauty of the ruggedness of the shore and the waves and cliffs. And a misty fog hanging over it all. We stop just outside of Newport and enjoy our lunch at a beautiful scenic overlook, listening to the waves while we eat – almost heaven! Arrive the campground at 4:30 and get set up and then head for the beach, which just happens to be right behind our site. But up and over the dune and down to the beach. We had a great walk on the beach, saw some of the horses returning from the sunset ride that is offered here, among other ... read more

March, 14, 2010 We bought our bike today!! After much Harley Davidson dealership shopping, bike-trader-ing, Craig's listing, and countless emails back and forth to my step-dad Tom and Uncle Dennis, we finally found what we think was a deal. It is also something that will take us across the country just fine... we think. Now we just need to not chicken out! We had lunch at a bomb little surfer / burger shack in the quaint Oregon beach town of Manzanita. Restaurant called the Sand Dune. Recommend it. ... read more
