Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin...
down the plain.
And the wavin' wheat can sure smell sweet
When the wind comes right behind the rain.

Sit alone and talk and watch a hawk
Makin' lazy circles in the sky. Today was a sweeeet day! We drove from Little Rock to Oklahoma City. Before we left Little Rock, we stopped at the Bill Clinton Presidential Library. We learned about his childhood and campaigning. We saw some really cool things like Hillary Clinton's report card, her shoes from childhood, and Chelsea's ballet shoes from when she was four years old. We watched a movie about how he was raised by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and his widowed mom. His work was inspired by seeing his grandfather, when he (Bill Clinton) was a kid, running a store and trying the best he could to treat everyone that came in equally. We also go to see an exact replica of the Cabinet Room and the Oval Office. In the Cabinet Room, we learned some amazing facts about the Cabinet. Did you know that when a member of the Cabinet decides he or she will retire, they can keep their personalized seat? But then, they have to pay a good four thousand five hundred dollars for the new member's seat. My mom and I didn't notice this when we were choosing our seat (I had to sit on her lap because of space.) that we chose
Burritos Rock!
From Flying Burrito in Little Rock the president's chair. It's quite interesting because the president's chair is 2 inches taller than all of the other seats.
We also went to the Heifer International Center in Little Rock. We went there to buy gifts for the Quakers we will staying with, but 40% of all sales go to the Heifer fund, so it was good. There's also a new interactive global education museum there called Heifer Village. It's in a new "sustainable and environmentally sensitive building. Adjacent wetlands, which support native species, complement the building’s design." "The goal of the village is to educate visitors about solutions to global hunger and poverty."
For lunch, we had even more burritos from Flying Burrito in Little Rock. Mine was on a score from one to ten, ten being the best, an eleven. It was outstanding! It was moist, and the pico de gallo was perfectly zesty. If you ever go to Little Rock, I would highly advise you to stop there! Mom thought her burrito was "so simple, yet satisfying that I started daydreaming about a burrito restaurant."
Tomorrow, we'll hopefully see Harry Potter 6. I'm so excited, I could just jump up and touch the
ceiling!
