LE, I was so glad to read your conclusion to your trip. You captured the wonder of all that you saw. Traveling is such a wonderful, eye-opening experience. There are interesting people and spectacular wonders to see everywhere. I am glad that Indiana was part of the adventure.
We'll miss your blogs, Ellie!! Your trip was amazing - what an adventure! Patrick and I enjoyed each of your 20 blogs. You've already been to more places in the US than either of us Old People have, Ellie. Now I am sure that you will enjoy being home and in your own bed again. Thanks again for inviting us along.
decay or delay hi ya'll.... fun to read nessa's dictated thoughts... and to see ellie eating celery... she has changed a lot... must be all those wild burritos... and miles of lined roads..... i am in the truro library and about to finish a paper... omg this has been hard being here and having to work on a paper... i managed to avoid all work until yesterday @ 6, so at least I am 2 hours earlier than yesterday... we wnet to nickerson state park and floated around on the pond all afteroon - actually after a great swim to the middle of the lake and back i did come back and sit on the beach, hiding in the shade reading some really interesting book - women's ways of knowing: the development of self, voice and mind - a classic in the field of women's developmental psych... really quite significant for my paper... got up early this morning feeling cramped from working until 10:30 last night and sleeping on an airmatress in a tent.. so I went for a 2 hour bike ride... along the coast in truro and almost in ptown....... love sea salt breeze, on a bike, alone, in the early morning.... am i delaying? i better get to writing.... love - tons of to all those matos wentworthians ... felice~
Ellie, you rock! This is so cool, Ellie. Can't wait to see you when you return from your burrito tasting trip! : )

I miss you guys Life is very, very quiet here now. I miss all of you being here; but I am so fortunate and happy to have spent this past week with you. Your entry about your time here is excellent. You captured much of the flavor of your visit here. Too bad about Levi Jackson State Park. Have a wonderful time i Asheville. Remember to eat at the Laughing Seed and visit the Malaprops bookstore.

Hi Daddy!!
The food was fantastic!! Yeah, the flowers are really pretty. The road up the mt was kind of scary, but not to scary. How r u doing?
So much love,
Ellie
Vanessa, hope you are not too decayed by the time you arrive here. Amy, Joaquin, and Santiago pulled in yesterday evening. They were craving Indian food at Shanti, so we gorged outselves there. Ram, the manager brought Santiago french fries with catsup, but he preferred the eggplant pakora and mango juice. He did lick the catsup off of the fries. Can't wait to see all of you tomorrow! Santiago is fascinated with Sally, the cat. Think I bonded with Santiago by showing him Sally. Santiago has even had his first stroll down Kirkwood Avenue.
The famous SAME Cafe Hi guys:
Happy you got to go to SAME Cafe. How was the food? I also like the pictures of wild flowers. Was the road up the mountain scary?
Hi Kathleen!!
Yeah, long time no see, really! :) This trip is really fun. What's up? I haven't gotten a tan. When I was staying with my cousins in California, they were telling me how this summer has been hotter than normal (they live outside of San Diego). Have you been to Cape Cod recently? I get back home on August 23. Do you want to go out to ice cream or go swimming, or something? Your friend, Ellie
Hi Anne!
YAY! I'm so excited to eat at the famous Laughing Planet! How's Amy and her husband and son? The Rockies are spectacular! I think we're going through St. Louis there. We will stop and see the arch but we'll probably see it. The Terre Haute sounds good, thanks! Yeah, the silhouettes are dramatic. See u soon! Love, Elie
Hi Amy, Uncle J, and not so little Iago!
Yes, I agree that the Grand Tetons are awesome! Oregon is very green with a town which is good. Yeah, my arm is getting better. Can't wait to see you in a few days!
Love, love, and so much more kove,
Ellie

Love to each of you!
Traveling cross country. Among other things, this will be a burrito exploration trip. That is, mother and daughter will try burritos from different parts of the country, rate them, and pick the best burrito place in the USA. Daddy and Nessa will engage in burrito exploration when they're with us. We hope to have lots of fun.... full info
